The main focus lies within underprivileged communities  in terms of skills development and training, as well as development of a unique african traditional and contemporary dance language.

Our organisation strives to preserve culture & heritage of South Africa, Keeping the community out of street and dangerous behavior through music and dance. Teaching them to be responsible for their lives.

Self-empowerment can be the result of theatre with these new insights, we are creating innovative solutions to societal issues and try to make the world a better place, one community at a time.

Ikusasa Arts Development

established in 2011 is an entertainment company in the dance sector of the performing arts. The main focus lies within underprivileged communities in terms of skills development and training, as well as audience development and development of a unique african traditional and contemporary dance language. Individuals with the skills necessary contribute positive to the running and development of the organisation. The organisation currently consists of training and outreach programme to children from different communities in our Municipality (NMB)
